Our Campus

Campus spread over a sprawling …. acres of land, the college boasts of a beautifully landscaped campus, offering a charming ambience to all its inmates. The state of art infrastructure of the college is continuously upgraded with futuristic facilities. There are two blocks in the college. The Science block having one of the most important sections of the college houses the Principal’s office, Governing body room, Examination branch, Accounts office, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Geography departments, Staff room, Girls common room and Class rooms.  Computer Lab  :— Computer lab for student to access as well as for the provision of taking continuing education courses by the college.

Regulations for Computer Use

Saini (co – edu ) college , Rohtak  shall strive to create a learning environment that encourages accessing and using the best available electronic information for education purposes. The College believes electronic access through the Internet enhances the opportunity to learn effectively by communicating and gathering timely information. The College believes access to the Internet is a privilege that has related user responsibilities. The College staff and students have the responsibility of being aware of and complying with the Internet use guidelines and behave in a legal and ethical manner when accessing information and communicating through the Internet.

 

Internet

The Internet is an excellent source of information to be used for serious academic purposes. The use of the Aurora College Network is a privilege, not a right. Inappropriate use will result in cancellation of lab privileges. To ensure responsible use of the Internet, all users must respect the regulations of appropriate use. Inappropriate use will NOT be tolerated by Aurora College and will lead to revoking of user privileges. The following items are NOT permitted on this network:The creation, downloading, transmission or printing of any offensive material such as obscene/indecent images, hate literature, pornography, bestiality, extreme violent images or hacker sites.

Library

Containing a wealth of endless knowledge and information, the library of the college, is well stocked. It contains numerous books pertaining to the course curriculum, as well as to certain general interest areas. It is playing a crucial role in inculcating reading habits among students. The library subscribes to various international and national Periodicals (journals, magazines) and news papers. The furnishings of the library also lend to academic knowledge promoting aspect, which inculcates among the students and faculty, the desire to learn more. The college library also strives to constantly upgrade and add on to its collections. The current status of the material available in the library is as follows:

Sports

Sports are integral part of any educational institute and this college too strives hard to offer a healthy and conducive environment to all its sportspersons. The college gives due attention to this significant dimension of our students’ overall development. In addition to various scholarships offered by the Govt. For different games, free boarding, lodging and sports kit facilities are provided to the students engaged in various sports activities. Moreover, we have an excellent sports faculty in the college that works with dedication towards bringing out the best in their students. It is owing to the excellent training facilities that the college offers, that we have produced various sportspersons of national repute. Achievements of students in diverse sports activities at State, National & International level proves that our efforts are in the right direction. Our students regularly represent college in various sports tournaments and championships.
